Letter from Fr Mark McManus 7th November (Thirty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time)

Dear Parishioners of St Joseph's & St Charles',

As we are proscribed from coming together for holy Mass I shall resume my previous practice and offer you a few rambling words for your weekend. Please find some words for the Thirty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time attached below.

The various televised and on-line Masses will be well known to you by now and there are a myriad of spiritual resources across the internet available also. Please set aside some definite time for prayer; I especially encourage you to read some sacred scripture and to recite the rosary (my favourite prayer while walking).

I wish you all a pleasant weekend and would remind you that if you do visit the church tomorrow (open 9.30 - 10.30am) do remember to wrap up.

Finally, the stalwart Marie will be available tomorrow for Christmas cards (box £5.00, pack £2.00) and CTS missal orders (£7.95). Unfortunately you will need the correct money as no change will be given.

Our Lady of Walsingham, pray for us.
St Joseph, pray for us.
St Charles Borromeo, pray for us.

With my prayers,

Fr Mark McManus
