Dear Parishioners of St Joseph's & St Charles,

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation I kindly remind the candidates that the concluding two sessions of preparation will take place at St Joseph's on Saturday mornings from 9.15 to 10.00am on the 9 & 16 May (Incl. rehearsal). For May 16: You will need to choose a Sponsor and inform me at the meeting who it is. This person, who represents the whole Church community, must be a practising Catholic of at least 16 years of age. You will need to choose a Confirmation Name. Again, I shall record it on that day. Finally, I can confirm that although now retired, Bishop Heskett will come to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation for you, on the feast of Pentecost, at St Joseph's on Saturday, 23 May, 2026, at 5.00pm.
