St Charles Church - Update Feb 2023
The Sheffield Polish Catholic Community have now moved to their new premises on Broomspring Lane, near the University of Sheffield. In order to cater to the needs of the now larger Slovak Catholic Community that principally resides in the area (and the wider city and neighbouring Rotherham for example) the care of St Charles Church will be passed to them. Other groups such as Jesus Youth and the Eritrean Orthodox Community also make their 'home' there. In a time of great change it is important to evaluate things and this provision will be reviewed again by the bishop at a future date
